The View Selection buttons are on the top left of the World View viewports.  Click on them to choose which view you want.  Some of them have more than one setting, details of which are listed below.

Camera View -  When this is selected, you will be looking from the active camera.  If  you have more than one camera you can lock it to a specific camera so no matter which camera is the active camera, it will view it from the "locked" camera.  To lock to a camera, select a camera in the Item List and make it the active camera by right-clicking on its eye icon (the open eye is the active camera), then right-click on the camera view selector.  You'll see it turn dark gray and list the name of the locked camera.

Multiple Cameras - When you have more than one camera, right-click on the Camera View button and it will change to a dark gray.  Now when you left-click (or middle-click) on it you will cycle through the different cameras in your scene.  A text readout on the right of the View Selection buttons will tell you which camera is active.

Note:  When Camera View is selected, there will not be any view controls on the right side of the viewport, because you control the view with the camera itself.

Object View -  When this is selected, you will be looking out from the object's pivot point.  This can be useful sometimes, for example if you're animating a missile and you want to see it move to its target.

Multiple Objects - If  you have more than one object you can lock the view to a specific one so no matter which object you're moving, it will view it from the "locked" one.  To lock to an object view, select it, then right-click on the Object View button.  The button will turn dark gray and list the name of the locked item.  To scroll through to different objects, left-click (or middle-click) on the button.

Note:  It's called "Object View" but it's really the view from any item, including cameras and lights.  Also, when this view is selected, some of the View Controls on the right of the viewport will be visible and active.

Perspective View -  When this is selected, you will be out in space looking at your scene from wherever you want.  When this view is selected, the View Controls on the right of the viewport will be visible and active.

Front/Back View -  When this is selected, you will have either the Front view or Back view.  Just click on the button to toggle between the two views.  When this view is selected, some of the View Controls on the right of the viewport will be visible and active.

Top/Bottom View -  When this is selected, you will have either the Top view or Bottom view.  Just click on the button to toggle between the two views.  When this view is selected, some of the View Controls on the right of the viewport will be visible and active.

Left/Right View -  When this is selected, you will have either the Left view or Right view.  Just click on the button to toggle between the two views.  When this view is selected, some of the View Controls on the right of the viewport will be visible and active.
